I followed the directions in https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/OpenVPN_in_LXC but on any network load OpenVPN causes the connection to cut out... I had much better luck running a pfSense VM with OpenVPN installed on it and setting that pfSense instance as the gateway for my VM.
